What is KALAH?

The Kalah System is a reality-based self-protection system. The focus is on the intensity and raw reality within which we face adversity. The training is not comfortable because it is when you are pushed from your comfort zone, that you grow and learn. We deal with the realness of what is required from self-protection to make it effective when implemented..

We aren’t “the best” or “perfect” – that is nonsense! However, we are one of the most realistic self-protection systems to date and our mission is to open individuals to the fact that self-protection isn’t easy to do, or learn.


This program incorporates fight scenarios, role-play, impact training, and training from disadvantage.We intentionally make the training as challenging as possible, including scenarios where individuals may feel trapped, fatigued, or experiencing discomfort such as pain. It's important to note that in KALAH training, participants often face situations where they may lose, emphasizing the need for adaptability, resilience, and learning from setbacks.

Here, we have a 5-day course , running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Personal KALAH Sessions - per hour basis for 4 months

Our training program is designed for individuals seeking focused, one-hour sessions to enhance their self-defense skills. The program emphasizes structured learning, progressive improvement, and a strong commitment to consistent training.


KEY DETAILS

  • Session duration: 1 hour.
  • Training frequency: twice a week.
  • Program duration: 4 months commitment.  Enrolled individuals will sign a contract committing to the full 4-month program.
  • Topic selection will be determined in collaboration with participants with finalization occurring two weeks prior to the start of the program.
  • Evaluation of each participant's current skill level, fitness, and specific goals.

CHOICE OF TOPICS

  • Hand to hand Combat: Grab Defense (collar, hand, neck or hair from all directions it coud be one hand or two hands), lock defense (rear, side or guillotine), punch and kick defense, defense against hugs (arms caught or free).
  • Ground Fighting- Grab defense from side and mount (choke, collar, hand or hair- one hand /two hands),  punch and kick defense, side headlock on the ground, side headlock and punching defense, rear headlock defense.
  • Anti-kidnapping- defense against - rear choke, blood choke, windpipe choke, rear headlock and kidnapping situation with and without knife.
  • Anti-Rape- defense against between the legs, knife threat defense (horizontal/vertical knife hold) between the legs.
  • Knife/Stick defense - both simulation and training standing and on ground.
  • Gun defense - both standing and on ground.

NOTE: We recommend participants select three topics for the 4-month program.

Real-World Self-Protection Training with a Focus on Reality and Preparedness

Our training is grounded in the principles of the KALAH system.

KALAH comes from Hebrew and means anti-terror fight.
K = Krav (fight)
L = Lotar (Anti-Terror)
H = Hatkhafa (attack)
A + A = Meant to reflect the Star of David (symbol of Israel).


The KALAH-Combat System is an open and flexible self-protection system. KALAH is not based on rigid processes, but rather on principles. No two attacks are the same, no threat or attack situation follows a strict pattern. No perpetrator/attacker is the same. In order to be able to react flexibly and effectively, we have to train flexibly. We have to train realistically so that we can keep a clear head and react effectively in an exceptional situation. Self-defense is not a game that can be played according to formula and must therefore be taken very seriously.

Our goal is to bind the alleged attacker at close range by explosively defending against a threat situation in order to prevent possible follow-up attacks. The Kalah system not only teaches us the use of effective defensive and close combat techniques. Conflict management behaviors are also trained. Kalah Combat also teaches us to improve our mental and physical condition in order to improve our ability to survive in dangerous situations.
